Amazon Drops Fallout: Season Two Trailer Ahead Of December Launch

Amazon has launched a new trailer for the second series of hit video-game adaptation Fallout: Season Two. The series heads to New Vegas, an apocalyptic Las-Vegas, and picks up the action where it left off at the end of season one.

The first episode of the series airs on 17 December with an episode released every week until the finale on 4 February.

Returning stars include Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moises Arias, and Frances Turner, but this season also sees new cast members – Kumail Nanjiani and Macauley Culkin.

Success

Considering the history of video game adaptations, few people could have realistically expected the first season to be as good as it was. Or as popular. More than 100 million people tuned in to watch Lucy, Maximus, and Ghoul, with 65 million watching in the first 16 days. It was one of the most popular series on Prime Video, and its success not only led to the commissioning of a second series, but a third series has already been confirmed.

Fallout: Season Two sees Macauley Culkin join the cast, in an as yet unnamed role, but as the head of The Legion. Justin Theroux also joins the show as leader of New Vegas, Robert House. Fans of the game series will also be excited to see Deathclaws as well as a more prominent role for The Brotherhood of Steel. As can be seen in the Fallout: Season 2 Trailer, there’s also a group of ghoul Elvises called The Kings.

Fans of the games will also be excited to see New Vegas brought to life, as Fallout: New Vegas is considered by many to be the best of the series.
